Matthew Lehman
Although born in Los Angeles in 1969, my first memories of life were my family moving to Mammoth Lakes in 1972. Although I spent most of my childhood in Mammoth Lakes, I did spend my high school years living in Encinitas, California, where I earned a congressional appointment to attend school at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
In 1992, I moved back to California where I helped my father grow our family appraisal office Bankers Appraisal (San Diego) into one of the largest appraisal firms in the County. Our office consisted of 30 appraisers, completing up to 55 appraisals per day, and on time.
After several years of working for Bankers Appraisal, I decided to grow on my own and conduct review appraisals and property tax appeals for various lenders and home owners.
While San Diego is a wonderful place to live, I missed the mountains and decided to take a large step and move back to Mammoth Lakes in 1996. Since this time, my incredible office staff and I have built the county's largest appraisal company with the help of the most modern technology.
I plan on living in Mammoth Lakes for the rest of my life, living an active outdoor lifestyle with my family and friends.
Currently, our office is an active appraisal company servicing all of Inyo and Mono Counties. We are local appraisers and we take pride in completing our work in a timely and professional manner. All of our appraisers are qualified and local appraisers dedicated to serving our customers.
I am presently an associate Member of the Appraisal Institute, working toward my MAI designation. Our office is also HVCC-Home Valuation Code of Conduct Compliant and well prepared to deal will any new requirements that the industry throws at us, the most recent being the 1004MC form.
